Anjel Miguel Alcaraz
Lead/Senior Compositor | Video Editor & Motion Graphics

I was Born and raised in Chicago, IL where I went to school to earned my Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts: Visual Communications. I began my journey to Los Angeles in 2008 where I got my break doing motion graphics with NBC Universal. Later on, I began my career as a compositor in 2011 working in stereoscopic 3D with Legend 3D, shortly after moving on to Stereo D (now SDFX) and grew my career and became a team lead. Within my time there, I gained more skillsets with 2D compositing, working alongside with Encore VFX.

Over time, I've worked with some of the top Hollywood projects from movies such as Star Wars, Avengers, The Batman, The Mandalorean, Avatar, and many more. I have over 80 projects that I've worked on from movies, to TV shows and commercials. Compositing skillsets include chroma keying, CG integration, deep node comp, beauty fixes and more. With the rise of AI, my next steps to learn is AI integration in to the workflow.

I have a passion for video editing and motion graphics. This is something that I started off while I was in high school. I recently been gaining interest in video editing using Premiere Pro, and going back in to doing motion graphics using After Effects and Cinema 4D. I've been keeping up with my video editing through my own Youtube channel.

I have a passion that drives for excellence in everything that I do. I am always eager to learn new skillsets from anywhere and anyone. I always love to grow. I have the drive and persistence, and the positive mindset as an artist. You can always teach a skillset, but you can't teach the positive attitude that I possess.
